NEW DELHI, July 25, 2026: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved two important Director-level appointments aimed at strengthening leadership in India’s commerce and agriculture sectors. The appointments involve Ms. Amulya K.G. as Director (Finance) of the Coffee Board and Shri Anoop Khinchi as Director General of the Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS NIAM).

The Competent Authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Amulya K.G., an Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer of the 2011 batch, as Director (Finance) at the Coffee Board, Bengaluru, under the Department of Commerce.
She has been appointed on a deputation basis for a period of three years from the date she assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
According to the official order, Ms. Amulya K.G. will be relieved of her present responsibilities immediately so that she can take charge of her new assignment without delay.
The Director (Finance) plays a crucial role in overseeing financial planning, budget management, resource utilization, and ensuring transparent financial administration within the Coffee Board.
Shri Anoop Khinchi Named Director General of CCS NIAM
In another significant decision, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the appointment of Shri Anoop Khinchi, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2008 Nagaland cadre, as Director General (Joint Secretary level) of the Chaudhary Charan Singh National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (CCS NIAM), Jaipur.
The institute functions under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and plays a key role in agricultural marketing research, capacity building, policy development, and training programs for farmers, administrators, and agricultural professionals.
Shri Khinchi has been appointed for a tenure of five years from the date he assumes office or until further orders, whichever comes first.
