Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced the appointment of Shri Brijesh Kumar Mishra as the company’s new Group General Manager (East Zone), marking an important senior management change within the railway hospitality and tourism PSU.

Before joining IRCTC, he served as Chief Freight Transportation Manager (CFTM) at Eastern Railway (ER), where he was involved in overseeing freight movement, operational planning, and railway traffic management functions.
During his career in the railways, he has held several operational and administrative positions across different railway divisions and zones, gaining extensive experience in transportation systems and passenger service management.
