Bilaspur । Shraddha Mahila Mandal of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Bilaspur, celebrated its 20th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and dignity at the Vasant Club, SECL Vasant Vihar Colony. The grand event witnessed the active participation of around 200 members from the headquarters as well as various operational area committees.
The programme was graced by the President of Shraddha Mahila Mandal, Mrs. Shashi Duhan, as the Chief Guest. The Vice Presidents—Mrs. Anita Franklin, Mrs. Ipsita Das, Mrs. Hasina Kumar, Mrs. Vinita Jain and Mrs. Shubhashree Mahapatra—were present as distinguished guests.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest and other dignitaries formally released the annual magazine of the Mandal titled “Shraddha Sangini.” Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Shashi Duhan highlighted that the 20-year journey of Shraddha Mahila Mandal has been an inspiring story of service, dedication and commitment towards the social upliftment of women. She appreciated the contributions of both present and former members and reaffirmed that the Mandal would continue its efforts for societal welfare, especially women empowerment, with the same dedication and collective spirit in the future.
A detailed presentation showcased the wide range of activities carried out by the Mandal at the headquarters and in various operational areas, including environmental protection, self-employment initiatives, skill development, education, women empowerment and cleanliness drives.
The programme also featured the felicitation of committees and members who demonstrated outstanding performance in social and cultural activities throughout the year. The event was further enriched by vibrant cultural performances comprising dance and singing, which captivated the audience and made the celebration truly memorable.
