Mahanadi Coalfields Limited Bids Farewell to CVO Pranab Kumar Patel After Completion of Tenure


Sambalpur : Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a key subsidiary of Coal India Limited, organized a formal farewell ceremony to honor Pranab Kumar Patel, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), marking the successful completion of his tenure with the company.

The event, आयोजित as a traditional “Samman Samaroh” at the company’s corporate headquarters in Sambalpur, brought together senior leadership, officials, and employees to recognize Patel’s contributions to strengthening vigilance and transparency within the organization.

Leadership Commends Vigilance Reforms

Speaking at the समारोह, Uday Anant Kaole, Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of MCL, praised Patel for his dedication and proactive approach in reinforcing vigilance systems. He highlighted the importance of strong internal oversight mechanisms in ensuring ethical operations within large public sector enterprises.

Patel’s tenure was marked by efforts to enhance transparency, improve compliance frameworks, and promote accountability across MCL’s operations.

Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Keshav Rao, Director (Human Resources), presented a self-composed poem dedicated to Patel, reflecting appreciation and respect from the organization.
