As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2025, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) Headquarters, Bilaspur organized a motivational discourse titled “Suhaana Safar – An Adventure into Awareness”. The session was delivered by Brahma Kumari Kavita Didi from Mumbai on 17 November 2025 at the SECL Headquarters Auditorium in the presence of CMD Harish Duhan, Director (Human Resources) Biranchi Das, Chief Vigilance Officer Himanshu Jain, along with various department heads, officers, employees, and representatives of labour unions.

The programme served as an important initiative toward strengthening ethical work culture, transparency, accountability, and internal vigilance within the organization. Brahma Kumari Kavita Didi, Rajyoga Meditation Teacher and Spiritual Director, addressed the gathering as the chief speaker. Through an insightful presentation, she highlighted key principles of life management, self-awareness, mental balance, and mindful decision-making.

In his address, CMD Harish Duhan emphasized that Vigilance Awareness Week is not limited to a week- or fortnight-long observance; rather, it is a value system that every employee must uphold throughout the year. He stated that when a person works with self-awareness and inner stability, their decisions become fair, accurate, and beneficial for the organization.

During her discourse, Brahma Kumari Kavita Didi said, “The journey of vigilance is not outward—it begins with inner awakening. When the mind is calm, decisions become transparent and aligned in the right direction. Accountability is not a burden; it is an opportunity for self-improvement. Rajyoga cleanses the mind, sharpens awareness, and makes life beautiful. Awareness is the power that keeps us balanced in every situation.”
She further added that the progress of any institution depends not only on its policies but also on the integrity and inner vigilance of every individual working within it. She encouraged regular practice of Rajyoga meditation as a foundation for mental energy, work commitment, and positive behaviour.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the rendition of Coal India’s corporate song. The welcome address was delivered by Manish Srivastava, Deputy General Manager (HR/Public Relations/Rajbhasha), and the vote of thanks was proposed by Nageshwar Rao, General Manager (Vigilance/E&M).
