NEW YORK: LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman has revealed that he has hired private security after receiving threats of violence that he says were fueled by conspiracy theories and allegations promoted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The dispute between the two prominent technology entrepreneurs has intensified in recent months, with Musk repeatedly making claims online that have linked Hoffman to Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier who faced sex-trafficking charges before his death in 2019.
