Aditya Birla Capital Limited Allots 7.56 Lakh Equity Shares Under ESOP and PSU Schemes


New Delhi : Aditya Birla Capital Limited (ABCL), the financial services arm of the Aditya Birla Group, has approved the allotment of 756,007 equity shares under its employee stock option and performance-based incentive schemes, further expanding the company’s paid-up equity share capital.

The allotment was approved by the company’s Stakeholders Relationship Committee during its meeting held on May 26, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.

Share Allotment Details

The company stated that the shares were issued following the exercise of employee stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and performance stock units (PSUs) by eligible employees under two separate incentive programs.

The breakup of the allotment includes:

  • 25,631 equity shares issued under the Aditya Birla Capital Employee Stock Option Scheme 2017 (ABCL Scheme 2017)
  • 730,376 equity shares issued under the Aditya Birla Capital Employee Stock Option and Performance Stock Unit Scheme 2022 (ABCL Scheme 2022)

The newly allotted shares have a face value of ₹10 each and will rank pari passu, or equally, with the company’s existing equity shares in all respects, including dividend and voting rights.

Increase in Paid-Up Share Capital

Following the latest allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of Aditya Birla Capital Limited increased from:

  • ₹26,20,81,48,980 to ₹26,21,57,09,050

The total number of outstanding equity shares also increased from:

  • 2,62,08,14,898 shares to 2,62,15,70,905 shares

The company noted that the increase reflects the ongoing implementation of its employee incentive and wealth-creation programs.
