ECIL Director (Finance) Proteek K. Chakraborty Receives ‘Most Influential CFO’ Award

Prestigious recognition honours his 32-year career in finance, corporate governance and strategic leadership

New Delhi, September 11, 2026: Proteek K. Chakraborty, Director (Finance) of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Most Influential CFO’ award at the Asia Leadership Summit & Awards 2026.

The award was presented by Times Aspire at an event held in Bengaluru on September 9, 2026. The recognition celebrates senior financial leaders who have demonstrated strategic vision, strong corporate governance, innovation and a measurable contribution to organisational growth and long-term value creation.

Over Three Decades of Finance Experience

Chakraborty is a senior finance professional with more than 32 years of diverse experience spanning corporate finance, accounting and power sector regulations.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi and is a professional member of both the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

His extensive professional background covers multiple areas of financial management and corporate administration, contributing to his expertise in strategic financial planning, governance and organisational decision-making.

Recognition of Financial Leadership

The ‘Most Influential CFO’ award recognises chief financial officers and senior finance leaders across Asia who have made significant contributions to their organisations through financial leadership and strategic decision-making.
