Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh |: Chief Justice of the Chhattisgarh High Court, Justice Ramesh Sinha, conducted an official inspection of the District and Sessions Court, Jagdalpur, during his visit to the Bastar region on Saturday. The visit focused on reviewing the court’s judicial infrastructure, public service facilities, and the overall efficiency of judicial operations.
During the inspection, Justice Ramesh Sinha examined several important sections of the court complex, including Civil Courtrooms, ongoing construction projects, the Kilkari Center, Family Court, Digitization and Scanning Unit, Copying Section, Fast Track Court, E-Service Center, Complaint Room for Persons with Disabilities, Special Courtrooms, Victim Waiting Room, and the Court Library Building.
The Chief Justice assessed the quality of court infrastructure, basic amenities, and judicial service delivery, while emphasizing the need to make the judicial system more efficient, transparent, and accessible for litigants and the general public. He also issued necessary guidelines to the concerned officials for further improving court administration and ensuring a better experience for citizens seeking justice.
Special emphasis was placed on providing faster, more convenient, and citizen-friendly judicial services for litigants, lawyers, and other visitors to the court. The inspection also highlighted the importance of strengthening digital judicial services and expanding infrastructure to support the growing demands of the justice system.
The inspection was attended by Principal District and Sessions Judge Govind Narayan Jangde, other judges and judicial officers, District Collector Akash Chhikara, Superintendent of Police Shalabh Sinha, and several senior administrative officials.
The visit reflects the Chhattisgarh High Court’s commitment to continuously improving judicial infrastructure, enhancing transparency, and ensuring timely and accessible justice for the people of the state.
