Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Cuts Short Firozabad Visit Following Major Fire Incident


Lucknow, India |Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath cut short his scheduled visit to Firozabad and returned to Lucknow following a major fire incident that prompted an immediate response from the state government.

Soon after receiving information about the blaze, the Chief Minister closely monitored the evolving situation and directed senior officials to ensure a swift and effective rescue and relief operation. He spoke with the Director General of Police (DGP) and the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department to obtain detailed updates on the cause of the fire, the extent of the damage, and the progress of emergency response efforts.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to prioritize the safety of affected residents, provide immediate medical assistance to the injured, and ensure that all available resources were deployed to contain the situation. He also emphasized the importance of conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.

Issuing a strong warning, Yogi Adityanath stated that those found responsible for the fire would face strict legal action. “The guilty will not be spared,” he said, reaffirming the state government’s commitment to ensuring accountability and public safety.

Meanwhile, firefighters, police personnel, and disaster response teams continued rescue operations at the site while local authorities worked to control the blaze and assist affected families. Officials are assessing the damage, verifying reports of casualties and injuries, and investigating the circumstances that led to the incident.
