Campaign under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 6.0 promotes public participation and awareness about cleanliness
Raipur : The Chhattisgarh Postal Circle and Raipur Postal Division jointly organised a special cleanliness drive at the Naraiya Talab premises in Raipur on Sunday under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 6.0.
The campaign was aimed at raising public awareness about cleanliness and encouraging citizens to take responsibility for keeping public places clean and well-maintained.
Members of the Bunch of Full NGO also participated in the drive. Volunteers joined postal department officers and employees in voluntary cleaning work at Naraiya Talab and the surrounding areas. During the campaign, people were also encouraged not to litter public places and to adopt responsible cleanliness practices.
Postal Officials Join Cleanliness Drive
N. K. Rajpal, Assistant Director, Chhattisgarh Postal Circle, actively participated in the cleanliness drive and carried out voluntary cleaning work along with other participants.
Addressing the officials, employees and volunteers, Rajpal highlighted the importance of cleanliness and said that cleanliness should not be viewed merely as a campaign but as a collective responsibility of society.
He appealed to citizens to actively contribute towards keeping their homes, workplaces and surrounding public spaces clean and attractive.
Focus on Community Participation
Participants expressed their commitment to creating a clean and healthy environment and took a pledge to continue promoting cleanliness through public participation.
The campaign also carried the message:
“Cleanliness is our responsibility. Let us work together to build a clean, healthy and beautiful Raipur.”
The Chhattisgarh Postal Circle and Raipur Postal Division are conducting various cleanliness and public-awareness activities under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 6.0 to take the message of cleanliness to communities. Through such initiatives, the department is encouraging awareness about cleanliness in public places, responsible civic behaviour and community participation.
