Beginning May 9, 2026, ECL’s official website will transition from its existing government-hosted platform to the new domain: www.easterncoalfields.in.
The company said the move represents a major step in strengthening its digital presence and delivering a more modern and user-friendly online experience for employees, vendors, business partners, and the general public.

Under the migration plan, ECL’s existing website, hosted at easterncoal.nic.in, will continue to remain accessible as an archived platform. This will allow users to retrieve previously published documents, notices, and reference materials without disruption.
However, all future official communications, services, notifications, and digital transactions will now be carried out through the new domain.
The company emphasized that the new platform will serve as the primary and officially recognized digital interface of Eastern Coalfields Limited going forward.
