GAIL Launches PM Internship Scheme 2026 for Indian Youth; Offers ₹9,000 Monthly Stipend and Industry Training

New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited has invited applications for the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2026, offering young Indians an opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience, professional training, and financial support while working with one of the country’s leading energy companies.

The initiative is aimed at preparing students and young graduates for future employment by providing real-world exposure in India’s rapidly expanding energy sector. With industries increasingly seeking candidates who possess practical skills in addition to academic qualifications, the internship program is designed to bridge the gap between education and workplace expectations.

Internship Duration and Financial Benefits

Under the scheme, selected candidates will undergo internship training for either six months or nine months, depending on the assigned role and project requirements.

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000 throughout the program. In addition to the monthly support, candidates will also receive a one-time joining incentive of ₹3,000 within 15 days of beginning the internship.

Another ₹3,000 incentive will be provided after the successful completion of three months in the program, making the internship financially beneficial for participants while they build professional experience.

The scheme is open to Indian youth between 18 and 25 years of age from a broad range of educational backgrounds. Eligible applicants include students and graduates from:

Family Income Limit Applies
