Koyla Bhawan : Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has strengthened its commitment to community welfare by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pradan Foundation to organize a free medical camp for Kanwariyas participating in the Shravani Mela 2026.
The MoU was signed on July 27, 2026, at BCCL’s Koyla Bhawan Headquarters as part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The program aims to provide free healthcare services to thousands of pilgrims undertaking the annual Kanwar Yatra between Sultanganj and Deoghar.
Free Medical Camp Along the Kanwar Yatra Route
Under the agreement, the medical camp will operate from July 30 to August 28, 2026, covering the entire duration of the Shravani Mela.
The facility will be established along the Sultanganj–Deoghar Kanwar Yatra route, where Kanwariyas travel on foot carrying holy water from the Ganga River at Sultanganj to offer prayers at the revered Baba Baidyanath Dham Temple in Deoghar.
Pilgrims will receive free medical consultation, basic treatment, first aid, and essential healthcare support throughout the pilgrimage period.

The Shravani Mela is one of India’s largest annual religious gatherings, attracting lakhs of devotees from across the country during the holy month of Shravan.
