Bilaspur: The Women Welfare Society of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organized a service and outreach program at Gyandeep Kanya Vidyalaya for visually impaired girls, reaffirming its commitment to social welfare and inclusive development. During the program, the children were provided with essential supplies including grocery items, fruits, biscuits, sesame laddoos, and other daily-use necessities.
The initiative was successfully carried out under the guidance of Shraddha Mahila Mandal President, respected Mrs. Shashi Duhan. Members of the Women Welfare Society expressed that visually impaired children are a unique creation of God and possess exceptional talent. The visit gave the societyโs office bearers a valuable opportunity to closely witness and appreciate the childrenโs confidence and abilities.
The program featured heart-touching and inspiring performances by the students, including songs, music, self-composed poems, and debates. Their presentations deeply moved the audience and highlighted the childrenโs creativity and determination.
A collective recitation of the Gayatri Mantra was also held with the children, promoting a sense of unity and positivity. In addition, Ms. Shefali Ghosh conducted an awareness session on โGood Touch and Bad Touch,โ helping the children better understand personal safety and self-protection.
The entire service program was conducted under the leadership of Women Welfare Society Secretary, Mrs. Madhuri Tiwari. Active and commendable participation was seen from members Mrs. Rehana Khan, Kavita Ghosh, Kriti Gangajali, Pushpalata Patel, Saroj Vastrakar, Shefali Ghosh, Savita Chauhan, and Sunita Jaiswal.
The program served as an inspiring example of compassion, social responsibility, and dedication toward the empowerment and well-being of visually impaired children.
