BSF Organises Blood Donation Camp in Bhilai, Collects 60 Units

Bhilai: On the occasion of National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, the Border Security Force (BSF) organised a one-day blood donation camp at the Strategic Headquarters Inspector General (Special Operations) campus in Risali, Chhattisgarh, on Thursday.

The camp was organised under the guidance of Sanjay Pant, Inspector General, Strategic Headquarters (Special Operations), BSF, Chhattisgarh. BSF officers, subordinate officers and personnel participated enthusiastically in the camp, with medical staff from the Government District Hospital, Durg, providing assistance.

The camp was held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, during which BSF personnel donated a total of 60 units of blood. The collected blood will be used for the treatment of patients in need.

Doctors and officers present on the occasion highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and encouraged participants to donate blood regularly.

At the conclusion of the programme, Inspector General Sanjay Pant expressed his gratitude to all BSF officers, subordinate officers, personnel and medical staff of Government District Hospital, Durg, for their contribution towards making the blood donation camp a success.
