HUDCO achieved its highest-ever loan sanctions of ₹1,64,758 crore and recorded a net profit of ₹4,034 crore in FY 2025-26; Board recommends record dividend of ₹6.05 per share.
New Delhi : Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has reported its strongest-ever operational and financial performance for the financial year 2025-26. The company’s 56th Annual General Meeting was held through video conferencing, where CMD Shri Sanjay Kulshrestha outlined the major achievements before shareholders.
Loan sanctions rise 29% to ₹1.65 lakh crore
HUDCO sanctioned loans worth ₹1,64,758 crore during FY 2025-26, registering a 29% year-on-year increase. Loan disbursements also rose 28% to ₹51,194 crore.
The company’s loan book expanded significantly to ₹1,60,724 crore, compared with ₹1,24,828 crore in the previous year.
Net profit jumps nearly 49%
HUDCO’s financial performance also witnessed strong growth during the year.

Record dividend recommended
The Board of Directors has recommended a record dividend of ₹6.05 per equity share, involving a total payout of approximately ₹1,211.15 crore.
HUDCO also retained its AAA/Stable domestic credit rating and achieved an ‘Excellent’ MoU Rating for the second consecutive year.
Borrowing costs decline
The company said its cost of borrowings declined by 27 basis points during FY 2025-26.
HUDCO also mobilised $700 million through External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs), while an additional $1.3 billion was secured for future drawdown. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s funding base for future lending activities.
Focus on urban infrastructure through UiWIN
HUDCO highlighted the progress of the Urban Invest Window (UiWIN), launched in November 2025 under the guidance of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
UiWIN functions as a one-stop solution for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) seeking financing and support for urban development projects. The initiative has already established partnerships with states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Bihar and Odisha.
Focus on Viksit Bharat 2047
Going forward, HUDCO said it will continue to focus on financing affordable housing, urban infrastructure, climate-resilient assets and digital infrastructure.
The company said its initiatives are aligned with the broader vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, with an emphasis on strengthening institutions and providing transformative financing for India’s housing and urban development needs.
