Bengaluru/Basel: Infosys has successfully implemented and gone live with Crop Protection Core (CP Core), Syngenta’s global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme for its Crop Protection business. The new unified digital core now supports more than 10,000 employees across 80 countries.
The platform consolidates multiple legacy ERP environments into a single global SAP S/4HANA system. Core customisations have been reduced in line with SAP best practices, creating a streamlined foundation that covers research, manufacturing, supply chain, regulatory, finance and commercial functions. The transformation is designed to simplify operations, strengthen governance and improve collaboration and visibility across Syngenta’s worldwide Crop Protection operations, while providing a scalable base for future innovation.
The programme was delivered using Infosys Topaz, the company’s AI-first services suite that incorporates generative and agentic AI, along with Infosys Cobalt cloud offerings. Artificial intelligence capabilities have been introduced to automate routine tasks while ensuring that people remain at the centre of critical decision-making.
Feroz Sheikh, Chief Information and Digital Officer at Syngenta, said the new platform gives teams a simpler and more reliable way of working, strengthens collaboration and positions the business for continued growth.
Jasmeet Singh, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Manufacturing at Infosys, noted that the successful go-live reflects precision, deep industry expertise and a strong partnership between the two organisations.
The initiative builds on Infosys’ long-standing collaboration with Syngenta and establishes a resilient digital foundation for the years ahead.
