Bhubaneswar : Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening India’s mineral exploration efforts as Shri S.K. Bhar, Regional Director, Regional Institute-VII (RI-VII), Bhubaneswar, conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing drilling and exploration operations at Gopalpur Camp on July 26, 2026.
Accompanied by senior officials and members of the regional team, Shri Bhar visited multiple drilling locations under the Combined Chatabar Block and Badibahal Kendudih Block to evaluate the progress, quality, and operational performance of the exploration activities currently underway.

During the inspection, Shri Bhar closely examined the ongoing drilling operations, reviewed field-level execution, and assessed the efficiency of exploration work being carried out across the project sites.
