A major development has emerged in the investigation into the death of Assamās beloved singer and filmmaker Zubeen Garg. On Friday, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that the Singapore government has forwarded the toxicology report related to Gargās death to the Assam CID.
However, the report has not yet physically reached Guwahati, where the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting a detailed probe.
The Chief Minister stated that the SIT has made āsubstantial progressā and is on track to file the chargesheet within the stipulated timeframe.

Shyamkanu Mahanta (festival organiser)
Siddharth Sarma (Zubeenās manager)
Shekharjyoti Goswami and Amritprava Mahanta (bandmates)
Sandipan Garg (Zubeenās cousin who accompanied him to Singapore)
Two of Zubeenās personal security officers
All of them are currently in judicial custody.
