Raigarh// The Ramleela Ground in Raigarh turned into a vibrant sea of energy, hope, and enthusiasm on Sunday as thousands of young students gathered to hear motivational icon and Super 30 founder, Padma Shri Anand Kumar. Sharing the stage with him was Chhattisgarh’s Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA, O.P. Choudhary, who further heightened the excitement with a major announcement: more than 100 students would receive a voluntary grant of ₹5,000 each.
“Success Begins with a Dream”
Addressing the packed crowd, Anand Kumar said that dreaming is the first step toward taking flight in life. He emphasized that honesty, hard work, and confidence are the most powerful tools a young person can have.
Sharing his personal journey, Anand recalled selling papad after his father’s death and missing an opportunity to study at Cambridge University due to financial constraints. Yet, he turned adversity into strength and eventually established the globally acclaimed Super 30 program.
He also narrated inspiring stories of students like Abhishek Raj, Shashi Narayan, and Nidhi Jha, who rose from hardship to secure jobs in leading global companies through perseverance and dedication.
“Struggle Leads to Victory”
Anand Kumar reminded students that lack of resources should never be a reason to feel defeated. Those who brave difficult paths, he said, become unstoppable. He urged the youth to work wholeheartedly, avoid excuses, and focus on self-study, calling it the key to lifelong success.
Three Essentials for Career Building
Earlier, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary opened the two-day career guidance event by highlighting three fundamental principles every youth should remember:

- Planned Hard Work
He encouraged students to read career-oriented books, stay updated about examinations, and seek help whenever they feel stuck. “Challenges come to everyone,” he said, “but those who refuse to give up are the ones who rise.”

The charged atmosphere at the Ramleela Ground was enhanced by flashing lights from thousands of young attendees welcoming Anand Kumar. The stage witnessed the felicitation of outstanding district students, UPSC qualifiers, gold medalists, and newly selected IIT candidates.
Upcoming Events in Pusaur and Sarangarh
On 25 November, a mega career guidance program will be held at Indraprastha Stadium in Pusaur at 8:30 AM, involving 40 schools and 3 colleges from Pusaur and Kharsia. Another session will take place in Sariya at 3:30 PM. In both events, students will get the opportunity to interact directly with Anand Kumar and seek guidance on career planning, goal setting, time management, and confidence-building.
