Porsche AG enters a five-year strategic partnership with MHP and Tata Consultancy Services to scale AI across engineering, manufacturing and customer experience.
Mumbai : Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced that Porsche AG has entered into a five-year strategic agreement worth €1.25 billion with MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH (MHP) and TCS.
The agreement follows TCS’s acquisition of MHP and is aimed at establishing a long-term technology partnership with Porsche to industrialize artificial intelligence (AI) across several critical areas of its business.
AI to transform Porsche’s operations
Under the strategic agreement, MHP and TCS will support Porsche AG in deploying AI across its:
- Engineering operations
- Manufacturing processes
- Business operations
- Customer experience
- Enterprise transformation
The partnership is expected to accelerate the adoption of AI-driven solutions across Porsche’s global operations and help integrate advanced digital technologies into its automotive ecosystem.
Focus on next-generation automotive technology
The collaboration will also include the delivery of next-generation automotive technology services and software-defined mobility platforms.
Software-defined vehicles are increasingly becoming a key part of the automotive industry’s transformation, with software, connectivity, data and AI playing a larger role in vehicle development and customer services.
Agreement linked to MHP acquisition
TCS said the strategic agreement will become effective from the closing date of its acquisition of MHP.
The deal is expected to strengthen TCS and MHP’s position in the automotive technology and digital transformation space while providing Porsche with access to large-scale technology and AI capabilities.
