Hyderabad : Telugu superstar Jr NTR has thanked his fans, friends and family for their prayers and support following his successful shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad, Telangana.
The actor underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery after sustaining an injury. KIMS Hospital issued a health bulletin on August 12, confirming that the procedure was successful and that Jr NTR was recovering well.
“We are happy to inform you that the surgery was completely successful and Mr. NTR is doing well,” the hospital said in its medical update. The actor will now begin a structured rehabilitation programme under medical supervision.
According to the medical team, Jr NTR is expected to make a full recovery within two to three months.
Jr NTR Thanks Fans for Their Prayers
A few hours after the hospital released the health bulletin, Jr NTR took to X, formerly Twitter, to express his gratitude to everyone who had supported him during the difficult period.
In his post, the actor said he was deeply moved by the love and prayers he had received and confirmed that his surgery had gone successfully.
He also expressed his gratitude to the medical team at KIMS Hospital for taking care of him.
Jr NTR further acknowledged the support of his friends, family and fans, saying that their presence and encouragement give him strength every day.
He ended his message on a positive note with a simple assurance to his fans: “See you soon.”
Doctors Advise Rest and Rehabilitation
Jr NTR had recently suffered a shoulder injury, following which doctors advised him to take approximately six to eight weeks of rest.
His team had previously shared an official health update on July 27, assuring fans that the actor’s condition was stable and that there was no reason for concern.
After medical evaluation of the shoulder injury, doctors decided that arthroscopic surgery was required.

On August 11, Jr NTR’s team issued a statement confirming that the actor would undergo shoulder surgery at KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.
