Railway Board approves five-year deputation of Shri Aayush, IRSE, from the Railway Board to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited

New Delhi : The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Aayush, IRSE, to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) for a period of five years.

According to a Railway Board order dated August 17, 2026, Shri Aayush, currently serving as Director/SD-I in the Railway Board, has been selected for deputation to the post of Deputy Chief Project Manager (Civil) [Dy. CPM (Civil)] at Vasai under NHSRCL.

Five-year deputation

The deputation will be for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The officer will be placed on the usual deputation terms, with parent pay along with deputation allowance, as applicable.

His deputation is also subject to the Government’s approval for exemption from the rule relating to immediate absorption in NHSRCL.

Officer directed to take up new assignment

Following the approval, Shri Aayush has been directed to be relieved from his present assignment in the Railway Board so that he can take up his new responsibility with NHSRCL.

The date on which he is relieved is required to be communicated to the Railway Board.

About Aayush

Shri Aayush, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE), was born on March 5, 1986. Before his deputation to NHSRCL, he was serving as Director/SD-I in the Railway Board.

His new assignment at Vasai will involve responsibilities related to civil works under NHSRCL, the organisation responsible for implementing India’s first high-speed rail corridor.
