Republic Day Honors Bravery: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Commends Two Chhattisgarh Police Constables

Bilaspur, India — On the occasion of India’s Republic Day, two police constables from the Bilaspur district were honored at the state level for their exceptional courage and dedication to duty. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai presented commendation certificates to Constables Ashish Rathore and Birendra Rajput, recognizing their fearless actions in strengthening law and order and protecting citizens from crime.

The awards were presented during the official Republic Day समारोह, where the Chief Minister praised the constables for their professionalism, integrity, and commitment to public service.

Constables Rathore and Rajput played a key role in dismantling a fraud ring that was cheating innocent citizens under the pretext of a government housing scheme. Their timely investigation and action not only helped deliver justice to the victims but also sent a strong message to fraudsters operating in the region.

In another notable incident, the two officers displayed remarkable bravery during a night patrol when they chased down and apprehended a habitual thief returning after committing a burglary. A search led to the recovery of valuable gold and silver jewelry along with cash, resulting in the exposure of a major theft case.

The constables were also instrumental in taking firm action against local troublemakers and in arresting suspects involved in violent crimes, including knife attacks. Their alertness and swift response helped prevent several serious offenses and ensured public safety.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that hardworking and courageous police personnel like Rathore and Rajput form the backbone of the state’s law enforcement system. He congratulated both constables and described their service as an inspiration for the entire police force.
