Healthcare Brought Closer to Rural Communities
Residents who benefited from the campaign expressed appreciation for the initiative, particularly for bringing eye-care services directly to their villages. They said that such programmes can be particularly helpful for economically weaker families who may face difficulties in accessing specialised healthcare.
The campaign also benefited senior citizens and women who were able to undergo eye examinations within their local communities.
The Adani Foundation undertakes community-focused initiatives in areas including education, healthcare, livelihoods and community development. Through Project Vision Care and similar programmes, the Foundation aims to extend essential healthcare services to communities with limited access to specialised medical facilities.
