Officials direct departments to complete all arrangements within the stipulated timeline
Mungeli : With Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai scheduled to visit Mungeli district on September 25 as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, Bilha MLA Dharamlal Kaushik, Collector Amrit Vikas Topno and Senior Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel inspected the proposed programme venues and reviewed preparations on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister’s proposed visit includes a blood donation camp and a mega health camp at the High School ground in Madku village, located in the Pathariya development block. The officials inspected the site and reviewed preparations being carried out by various departments.
Following the inspection, officials were assigned department-wise responsibilities and instructed to ensure that all arrangements are completed within the prescribed deadline.
Preparations Reviewed at Programme Venue
During the inspection, the officials reviewed arrangements for land levelling, barricading, stage construction, seating arrangements and preparations related to inauguration and foundation-stone laying ceremonies.
They also took stock of arrangements for cultural programmes, drinking water, electricity supply, cleanliness, traffic management and parking facilities.
Officials were directed to ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed on time so that the programme can be conducted smoothly.
Collector Directs Departments to Work in Coordination
Collector Amrit Vikas Topno directed all departments involved in the programme to work in close coordination and regularly review the progress of their respective responsibilities.
He stressed the need for strict compliance with the prescribed protocol and instructed officials to ensure that every arrangement related to the Chief Minister’s visit is properly monitored.
The Collector also inspected the programme venue and other important locations and directed officials to finalise arrangements after addressing any remaining requirements.
Cleanliness and Maintenance at Key Locations
The Collector also reviewed arrangements at the Circuit House and other important locations associated with the visit.
Officials were instructed to ensure proper cleanliness, maintenance and other necessary facilities at these places ahead of the Chief Minister’s arrival.
The directions were aimed at ensuring that preparations at both the main programme venue and other designated locations are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
Officials Present During Inspection
Several senior district officials and local representatives were present during the inspection.
Those present included Additional Collector Nishtha Pandey Tiwari, District Panchayat CEO Gokul Rawat, Additional Collector G.L. Yadav, Pathariya SDM Rekha Chandra, local public representatives and other concerned officials.
The district administration said the preparations will continue to be reviewed to ensure that all arrangements are completed as scheduled ahead of the proposed September 25 visit.
