KOCHI, India — Manappuram Finance Limited, one of India’s leading non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), has announced changes to its senior management structure, effective June 23, 2026, as part of an internal reporting realignment aimed at strengthening organizational efficiency.
The company informed the stock exchanges that Manikandan T.G., Head of the Information Technology (IT) Department, and Satheesh Kumar M., Head of Administration, will no longer be classified as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) under the revised organizational framework.
IT Department Realigned Under Group CTO
According to the company, Manikandan T.G. has ceased to be recognized as a Senior Management Personnel following the designation of the Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as the official Senior Management Personnel responsible for the technology function.
Under the new reporting structure, Manikandan T.G. will now report directly to the Group CTO, reflecting a centralized leadership model for the company’s technology operations.
Administration Function Moves Under CHRO
Similarly, Satheesh Kumar M., who previously served as Head of Administration and was classified as an SMP, has also been removed from the Senior Management Personnel category.
The company stated that the Administration Department will now operate under the supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) as part of an internal departmental restructuring designed to improve operational coordination.
No Resignations or New Appointments
Manappuram Finance clarified that these changes are purely administrative and are the result of internal reporting realignments. The company emphasized that no executive has resigned or been newly appointed, and the changes do not affect the existing leadership team beyond the revised reporting hierarchy.
The restructuring became effective on June 23, 2026, and reflects the company’s continued efforts to streamline governance, enhance accountability, and strengthen organizational management while maintaining operational continuity.
