Nagpur : In a significant initiative to strengthen India’s fire safety research and emergency preparedness, the Centre for Fire, Explosive & Environment Safety (CFEES), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, an institution under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The strategic partnership aims to foster collaborative research, technological innovation, and knowledge sharing in the field of fire safety engineering, ultimately contributing to safer infrastructure, enhanced emergency response capabilities, and improved fire prevention standards across India.

The Memorandum of Understanding was formally exchanged between the Director of CFEES and the Director of the National Fire Service College (NFSC) during a ceremony held in Nagpur.
