Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the residence of President’s Award-winning educator and retired school principal Brijesh Pandey in Ambikapur, Surguja district, as part of the “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare” nationwide outreach campaign.
The visit was aimed at interacting with respected senior citizens, seeking their blessings, and gathering feedback on the implementation and effectiveness of government welfare initiatives.

The visit comes as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) marks 12 years of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Central Government. To commemorate the milestone, the party has launched a nationwide campaign titled “12 Years of Trust, Development and Public Welfare”, highlighting the government’s achievements and public welfare initiatives over the past decade.
As part of this campaign, senior BJP leaders and elected representatives are meeting distinguished members of society, including educators, social workers, and community leaders, to understand public opinion and strengthen citizen engagement.
Chief Minister Meets Distinguished Educator
During his visit, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Brijesh Pandey, a retired principal of Swami Atmanand School, who has been honored with the prestigious President’s Award for his outstanding contribution to education.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Chief Minister to interact personally with the veteran educator and seek his views on the implementation of government policies, educational reforms, and public welfare programs.

He said the Prime Minister has created a new benchmark by continuously serving the nation while earning the confidence of citizens over the years.
The Chief Minister also conveyed congratulations to the Prime Minister on behalf of the nearly 30 million (3 crore) people of Chhattisgarh, stating that the occasion is being celebrated as a public festival across the state.
According to Sai, the campaign is not only about celebrating achievements but also about connecting directly with respected members of society and receiving their blessings and valuable suggestions.
