Andhra Pradesh Announces 10,060 Government Jobs in Four Phases, Recruitment to Begin September 15

Over 8,500 additional vacancies to be notified in three phases, supplementing 1,523 posts already announced in May

Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a major job recruitment calendar covering 10,060 government vacancies, with recruitment to be carried out in four phases through various recruiting agencies.

The latest announcement covers more than 8,500 vacancies in three phases, in addition to 1,523 posts already notified in May by the Higher Education Department.

According to Principal Finance Secretary Peeyush Kumar, the second phase of recruitment will begin on September 15, when 3,231 vacancies are scheduled to be notified.

A further 2,311 vacancies will be notified under the third phase on October 15, followed by another 2,995 vacancies under the fourth phase.

10,060 Vacancies Through Direct Recruitment

The government has authorised various recruitment agencies to fill the vacancies through direct recruitment.

According to a Government Order (GO), permission has been granted to agencies including:

  • Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC)
  • Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB)
  • District Selection Committees (DSC)
  • Other designated recruiting agencies

The vacancies will be filled across various departments of the state government.

1,523 Jobs Already Notified in May

The recruitment programme began with the first phase in May 2026, when the Higher Education Department notified 1,523 vacancies.

With the three additional phases now announced, the total number of government posts to be filled through direct recruitment will reach 10,060.

The phased recruitment calendar is intended to provide a structured timeline for departments and recruitment agencies to initiate the selection process.

Deputy Collectors, DSPs Among Posts

The recruitment drive will cover a wide range of government positions.

According to the job calendar, the state plans to recruit 11 Deputy Collectors, 36 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and 35 Divisional Development Officers, along with several other posts across different departments.

The inclusion of senior administrative and police positions makes the recruitment programme significant for both the state administration and job aspirants.

Major Opportunity for Government Job Aspirants

The announcement is expected to provide a major employment opportunity for candidates preparing for Andhra Pradesh government recruitment examinations.

With thousands of vacancies being released through APPSC, APSLPRB, DSC and other agencies, aspirants will have opportunities across administrative, police, education and other government departments.
