Mumbai, India | Acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has revealed why his highly anticipated epic ‘Ramayana’ will be released as a two-part cinematic saga, saying that the legendary story is simply too vast and emotionally rich to be confined to a single feature film. During an interview with IGN, Tiwari explained that the filmmakers carefully designed the screenplay so the first installment concludes with a powerful cliffhanger, leaving audiences eager to witness the continuation of the story in Part Two.
“The Ramayana is one continuous story, and we felt it deserved the time and scale required to tell it properly,” Tiwari explained during the discussion.
