Parents expressed appreciation for the camp, noting significant improvements in their children’s confidence, communication abilities, teamwork, and overall personality development during the three-week program.
Speaking at the event, Harish Duhan emphasized that summer camps serve a much greater purpose than recreation alone. He described them as powerful platforms for character building, skill enhancement, and lifelong learning. He encouraged children to continue exploring their talents, maintain healthy lifestyles, and remain committed to personal growth.
Duhan also reiterated SECL’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of employees and their families, highlighting the organization’s efforts to provide meaningful developmental opportunities for children.
Adding an environmental dimension to the celebration, SECL organized a tree plantation drive under the nationwide “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” (A Tree in Mother’s Name) campaign. Dignitaries planted saplings and distributed plants to participating children, promoting the importance of environmental conservation and encouraging young people to develop a stronger connection with nature.
The Summer Camp 2026, which ran from May 18 to June 10, attracted approximately 175 children. Participants were divided into age-appropriate groups and engaged in a diverse range of educational and recreational activities, including fitness training, sports coaching, yoga sessions, music, dance, arts and crafts, science and innovation workshops, public speaking exercises, leadership development programs, and interactive learning sessions.
The successful conclusion of the camp highlighted SECL’s broader commitment to community engagement, youth empowerment, and family welfare, while providing children with valuable life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
