Dr. Geeta Singh Appointed State Treasurer of BJP’s Cooperative Cell in Chhattisgarh


Bilaspur, India: Dr. Geeta Singh, a prominent social worker from Bilaspur, has been appointed as the State Treasurer of the Cooperative Cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state of Chhattisgarh. The appointment was made under the guidance of state BJP president Kiran Singh Deo and organization secretary Pawan Sai, with the recommendation of Cooperative Cell state convener Praveen Kumar Dubey.

Dr. Singh has long been active in social initiatives, particularly in the areas of women’s empowerment, self-help groups, and community welfare. Party leaders said her experience, dedication, and organizational skills played a key role in her selection for the important position.

The announcement of her appointment sparked celebrations among members of the Mid-Day Meal Cooks Welfare Association and women associated with the Bihan self-help network. District president Santoshi Kaushik said the decision would strengthen the organization and give women a stronger voice at the state level.

Several members and team leaders from the Bihan network also congratulated Dr. Singh on her new role. Among those who extended their wishes were Krishna Kanwar, Shanti Bai, Annapurna from Champa, Lakshmi Mahant, Sunita Miri from Korba, Vinod Khande from Bilaspur, Gayatri Sahu from Kanker, and Rukhmani Pandey from Seoni.

Supporters expressed confidence that Dr. Singh will use her experience and commitment to further strengthen cooperative initiatives and organizational activities across the state.
