Delhi IAS Academy Celebrates 19th Foundation Day on National Youth Day with Grand “Yuvathan Marathon”


Message of energy, discipline and focus inspired by Swami Vivekananda Jayanti

On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, celebrated across the country as National Youth Day, Delhi IAS Academy marked its 19th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and dignity. To commemorate the occasion, the academy organized a grand “Yuvathan Marathon” in the morning, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, discipline, positive thinking and competitive spirit among the youth.

Dignified Presence of Chief and Special Guests

The marathon event was graced by Additional Commissioner Shri Khajanchi Kumhar as the Chief Guest, while the Special Guest was Smt. Pramila Chaturvedi, mother of the institute’s founder Shri Saurabh Chaturvedi. The guests appreciated the enthusiasm of the students and described such initiatives as vital for youth empowerment and nation-building.

Marathon Flagged Off After Cake-Cutting Ceremony

The program began with a cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the 19th anniversary of Delhi IAS Academy. Following this, the guests flagged off the Yuvathan Marathon by showing the green flag. A large number of students from the academy participated in the marathon with great zeal and energy.

Winners Honoured in Men’s and Women’s Categories

Outstanding performers in the marathon were felicitated with cash prizes, medals and trophies.

  • Men’s Category:
    • First Prize: Ankit Kumar
    • Second Prize: Bhushan Pratap
    • Third Prize: Krishna Yadav
  • Women’s Category:
    • First Prize: Om Sahu
    • Second Prize: Sargam Chauhan
    • Third Prize: Monish Patel

The winners received cash awards of ₹3100, ₹2100 and ₹1100 respectively, along with medals and trophies.

Guidance on Yoga and Meditation

Addressing the students, Chief Guest Shri Khajanchi Kumhar emphasized the importance of yoga and meditation for concentration, mental balance and success. He highlighted that along with physical fitness, mental stability plays a crucial role in preparing for competitive examinations.

Inspiring Message for Youth

Presiding over the program, Shri Saurabh Chaturvedi, Head of Delhi IAS Academy, recalled the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and stated that youth power is the true wealth of the nation. He added that such events help inculcate discipline, determination and commitment towards goals among young aspirants.

Vote of Thanks

At the conclusion of the event, Chief Manager Smt. Vidya Chaturvedi and Executive Director Shri E. Navneet Singh Rathore, on behalf of the academy management, expressed gratitude to the chief and special guests, district administration, medical department, police and traffic authorities for their support. They also thanked all participants, staff members and associates for making the event a grand success.
