Raipur: Neeraj Jalota has assumed charge as the Regional Executive Director of NTPC Western Region–II at NTPC Nava Raipur with effect from January 6, 2026. He will also continue to hold the additional responsibility of Executive Director – Unified Shared Service Centre (USSC) at NTPC Nava Raipur.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Punjab University, Mr. Jalota joined NTPC in 1988 as an Executive Trainee. He has further strengthened his academic credentials with an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from IIT Delhi and a PG Diploma in Business Development from MDI Gurgaon.
With more than 37 years of extensive experience, Mr. Jalota has worked in diverse areas such as plant operations, mechanical maintenance and erection, business development, project coordination, coal mining, and project construction. During his long and distinguished career, he has served at key NTPC establishments including NTPC Badarpur, NTPC-GE Joint Venture Noida, NTPC Chatti Bariatu Coal Mining, and NTPC Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining.
He has also held important leadership positions, including CEO of NTPC Kerandari Coal Mining in Jharkhand, NTPC Dulanga Coal Mining in Odisha, NTPC Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining in Jharkhand, and NTPC’s Joint Venture at Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh.
Since July 2, 2025, Mr. Jalota has been heading the Unified Shared Service Centre at NTPC Raipur as Executive Director, playing a key role in strengthening unified contract and procurement functions.
With his vast professional experience and leadership acumen, NTPC Western Region–II is expected to witness further growth and operational excellence under his stewardship.
