Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh | August 5, 2026: Marking the sacred occasion of the holy month of Sawan, the Women’s Welfare Society (Mahila Kalyan Samaj) organized a grand Collective Rudrabhishek and Shiva Puja at the Rameshwaram Shiv Temple, located in Indira Vihar Colony, on Monday, August 3. The spiritually enriching event witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the society, who gathered to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for peace, prosperity, good health, and happiness.
The primary objective of the Collective Rudrabhishek and Shiva Worship was to promote spiritual awareness while praying for the well-being, harmony, prosperity, and healthy life of every member of the Women’s Welfare Society and society at large.
The temple resonated with devotional chants, Vedic rituals, bhajans, and kirtans, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The Rudrabhishek, performed with traditional Vedic rituals, filled the temple premises with divine energy as devotees offered prayers with unwavering faith and devotion to Lord Bholenath.
The entire religious ceremony was conducted under the leadership of Mrs. Madhuri Tiwari, Secretary of the Women’s Welfare Society. Addressing the gathering, she emphasized the importance of collective prayer, unity, and spiritual values in strengthening social harmony and personal well-being.
The event witnessed active participation from all members of the society, who fulfilled their responsibilities with dedication, enthusiasm, and devotion. The successful execution of the grand ceremony was made possible through the collective efforts and teamwork of the participating women.

Following the completion of the rituals, Prasad was distributed among all devotees. The women observing the Sawan fast concluded their vrat after receiving the sacred offering. Participants collectively prayed for the peace, prosperity, good health, and overall welfare of the members of the Women’s Welfare Society as well as the entire community.
The ceremony concluded with all members reciting the ancient Vedic prayer:
“Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah;
Sarve Bhadrani Pashyantu, Ma Kashchid Dukhabhag Bhavet.”
The collective chanting reflected a heartfelt prayer for universal peace, harmony, prosperity, and the well-being of all living beings.
