Raipur Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that “the responsibility of shaping a golden future for children lies primarily with the Education Department.” He was addressing a high-level review meeting at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan on the strategic roadmap of the Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision 2047 for the education sector.
The meeting included an in-depth discussion on the short-term goals set for 2030, mid-term goals for 2035 and long-term targets under the Vision 2047 framework. The Chief Minister directed officials to prepare a robust, result-oriented action plan and ensure swift and sincere implementation across all levels.
🔹 Education is the strongest foundation of “Viksit Chhattisgarh”
Highlighting the national vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Sai said that Anjor Vision has been designed to align with this mission and ensure the creation of a developed Chhattisgarh.
He said that only skilled, competent and future-ready students will be able to meet the challenges of the coming decades. The Chief Minister also noted that Chhattisgarh currently has a better teacher–student ratio than the national average, and government schools are consistently improving the quality of education.
A detailed presentation on departmental progress and goals was given by the School Education Secretary during the meeting.
🔹 Teachers play the most decisive role
Emphasizing the responsibility of educators, CM Sai said:
“If every teacher performs their duty with complete sincerity, nothing can stop our children from achieving a bright and golden future.”
He called for:
✔ promoting healthy competition among teachers,
✔ providing leadership opportunities to talented educators, and
✔ fostering an enhanced academic environment.
He also instructed officials to strengthen early childhood education through Anganwadi and Balwadi and ensure greater coordination with the Women and Child Development Department.
🔹 Key reforms under review
The review covered several major initiatives under Anjor Vision 2047, including:
🔹 Establishment of 1,000 Model Schools
🔹 Implementation of the School Complex System
🔹 Launch of international-standard schools
🔹 AI-based evaluation systems
🔹 Personalized learning through digital lesson-plan applications
🔹 Advanced teacher training programs
🔹 Expanded STEM education framework
To boost STEM, the CM stressed the need for:
📌 Setting up a Science City
📌 Organizing state-level science fairs
📌 Launching AI and Robotics laboratories in schools
🔹 Zero dropout target by 2035
Discussions were also held on achieving:
🔸 Zero dropout rate by 2035
🔸 Strengthening teacher recruitment and assessment centers
🔸 Formation of a state-level ECCE committee
🔸 Accelerated implementation of the roadmap for the next three years
The Chief Minister also reviewed the functioning of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, covering:
✔ student database management
✔ question paper development
✔ examination procedures
✔ evaluation systems
He instructed officials to introduce:
🔸 more elective subjects at the higher secondary level
🔸 competition-oriented question banks
🔸 error-free evaluation protocols
🔸 a GPS-enabled tracking system for confidential question-paper transportation
🔹 Progress presented under NEP 2020
The meeting also showcased several achievements, including:
• increase in enrolment under NEP 2020
• integration of Balwadi with school education
• mother-tongue-based teaching
• ‘Jadui Pitara’ and Samvaad learning initiatives
• Eco-Club activities
• digital broadcasting under PM e-Vidya
• expansion of vocational education
The Chief Minister affirmed that the goals of Anjor Vision 2047 will play a crucial role in building a strong, self-reliant and globally competitive generation in Chhattisgarh.
