HPCL has confirmed that its existing statutory and branch auditors will continue for FY 2026-27 following a communication from the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG).

Mumbai : Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has informed the stock exchanges that its existing audit firms will continue as auditors for the financial year 2026-27.

The company said it received a communication from the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) on September 8, 2026, advising the continuation of the existing auditors in accordance with Section 139 of the Companies Act, 2013.

Existing Auditors to Continue

The audit firms that will continue to serve HPCL during FY 2026-27 are:

  • S K Patodia & Associates LLP, Mumbai – Statutory Auditor
  • Batliboi & Purohit, Mumbai – Statutory Auditor
  • D V Ramana Rao & Co., Visakhapatnam – Branch Auditor

HPCL disclosed the development to the stock exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.

Profile of HPCL’s Audit Firms

S K Patodia & Associates LLP, established in 1992, has more than three decades of experience across statutory and internal audits, taxation, corporate advisory services and government consulting.

Batliboi & Purohit, one of the older accounting firms in India, was established in 1907. The firm provides services in audit and assurance, taxation, risk advisory and corporate advisory. It currently has 15 partners and more than 155 technical professionals.

D V Ramana Rao & Co., established in 1956, provides professional services across multiple sectors, with a significant presence in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The firm currently has five partners.

Audit Arrangements to Remain Unchanged in FY 2026-27

With the continuation of the existing firms, HPCL’s statutory and branch audit arrangements will remain unchanged for FY 2026-27.

The development follows the CAG’s communication to the company and ensures continuity in HPCL’s audit framework for the new financial year.
