Titan Reports Record Q1 FY2027 Results; Net Profit Surges 63% to ₹1,777 Crore

Revenue Rises 40% as Jewellery Business Shines; Watches, Eyecare and Engineering Segments Deliver Strong Growth

New Delhi: Titan Company Limited, one of India’s leading lifestyle and retail companies, has reported an outstanding financial performance for the first quarter of FY2027, registering a 63% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹1,777 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

The strong quarterly performance was driven by robust consumer demand during the Akshaya Tritiya festival season, premium product sales, and healthy growth across the company’s Jewellery, Watches, Eyecare, and Engineering businesses.

Revenue Grows 40%

Titan’s total consolidated income (excluding bullion and digi-gold sales) increased by 40% to ₹20,753 crore, compared with ₹14,778 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The company’s profitability also improved significantly during the quarter, reflecting better operational efficiency and strong demand across key business segments.

The expansion in margins highlights Titan’s ability to maintain profitability despite fluctuations in gold prices and global market uncertainties.

Jewellery Business Remains the Growth Engine

The Jewellery Division, which includes Tanishq, Mia, Zoya, and CaratLane, continued to be the company’s largest revenue contributor.

The segment recorded 43% year-on-year growth, with revenue reaching ₹18,253 crore.

Key Highlights

  • India Jewellery Business: ₹16,943 crore, up 38%
  • International Jewellery Business: ₹1,309 crore, up an impressive 136%

The domestic brands Tanishq, Mia, and Zoya collectively recorded 38% growth, while CaratLane achieved 40% growth, reflecting strong consumer demand across both premium and everyday jewellery categories.

The company also expanded its retail footprint by opening:

  • 33 new stores across India
  • 2 new Tanishq outlets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region

The Jewellery division generated an EBIT of ₹2,360 crore with a healthy EBIT margin of 12.9%.

Watches Business Continues Premium Growth

Titan’s Watches & Wearables business delivered another strong quarter.

Revenue increased 21% to ₹1,543 crore, driven primarily by growing consumer preference for premium analogue watches and strong brand performance.

The division reported:

  • Revenue: ₹1,543 crore
  • EBIT: ₹295 crore
  • EBIT Margin: 19.1%

Eyecare Business Expands Retail Presence

The company’s Eyecare Division also maintained healthy momentum.

Revenue increased 21% to ₹289 crore, supported by retail expansion and steady customer demand.

During the quarter, Titan opened:

  • 6 new Titan Eye+ stores
  • 1 new Runway store

Emerging Businesses Continue to Grow

Titan’s portfolio of Emerging Businesses, including Skinn Fragrances, IRTH, and Taneira, reported revenue of ₹128 crore, representing an 18% increase over the previous year.

These businesses continue to strengthen Titan’s presence in premium lifestyle and fashion segments.

TEAL Delivers Impressive Performance

Titan Engineering & Automation Limited (TEAL) recorded another strong quarter.

The engineering business reported:

  • Revenue: ₹438 crore
  • Growth: 43%
  • EBIT: ₹143 crore

The performance reflects growing demand for industrial automation and engineering solutions.

Management Commentary

Commenting on the quarterly performance, Managing Director Ajoy Chawla said the results reflected strong consumer demand for premium products across Titan’s businesses.

He noted that despite challenges such as gold price volatility, changes in import duties, and global geopolitical uncertainties, the company maintained its focus on:

  • Disciplined execution
  • Long-term value creation

According to the management, Titan remains well positioned to capitalize on India’s growing premium consumption trends.

The company’s Statutory Auditors issued an unmodified (clean) limited review report on the financial results, indicating that the financial statements fairly present the company’s performance in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
