REC Limited Wins Two Honors at National Leadership Summit & Awards 2026


MUMBAI  — REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under India’s Ministry of Power and a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC), received two major national recognitions at the National Leadership Summit & Awards 2026 held at Bombay Stock Exchange in Mumbai.

“India’s Most Influential CFO 2026” Award

Harsh Baveja, former Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer of REC Limited, was honored with the prestigious “India’s Most Influential CFO 2026” award. The recognition acknowledges his leadership and financial stewardship during his tenure from May 2024 to January 2026.

Baveja personally received the award at the ceremony. During his term, he played a key role in strengthening REC’s financial position and advancing strategic initiatives aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.

CSR Excellence in Healthcare Access

In addition to the individual honor, REC Limited was recognized for “Excellence in CSR for Healthcare Access” with the India CSR Initiatives and Social Impact Award. The accolade highlights the company’s strong commitment to inclusive growth and impactful social development programs, particularly in expanding healthcare accessibility.

The award was accepted on behalf of the company by Alok Singh, Chief Program Manager, Regional Office – Mumbai.
