SECL Conducts Special Cleanliness Drive at Shiva Temple in Vasant Vihar Colony

Bilaspur : South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organized a special cleanliness drive at the Shiva Temple premises in Vasant Vihar Colony, Bilaspur, on Thursday under the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ and ‘Special Campaign 6’ initiatives. The campaign was conducted as part of the “One Day, One Hour, Together” activity.

The cleanliness drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from SECL officers, employees and volunteers. Through collective voluntary efforts and shramdaan, the participants cleaned the Shiva Temple premises and the surrounding areas. Waste and other discarded materials collected during the drive were properly segregated and disposed of in an appropriate manner.

During the campaign, participants also spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene. They collectively pledged to maintain the temple premises and its surrounding areas in a clean, hygienic and aesthetically pleasing condition.

The one-hour cleanliness initiative highlighted the importance of community participation, collective responsibility and public involvement in maintaining cleanliness at public places. The active participation of SECL employees and volunteers reflected their commitment towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment.

The initiative is a significant step by SECL towards furthering the objectives of ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ and ‘Special Campaign 6’ through community participation. Such cleanliness drives not only promote awareness about hygiene and sanitation but also encourage people to contribute collectively towards building a clean, beautiful and healthy environment.
