Ashnoor Kaur Clarifies Flooded Home Incident, Says Burst Pipe—Not Mumbai Rains—Caused Waterlogging

Mumbai : Television actress and Bigg Boss 19 contestant Ashnoor Kaur has clarified that the waterlogging inside her Mumbai home was caused by a burst pipe, not by the city’s recent heavy rainfall, putting an end to widespread speculation on social media.

The confusion began after Ashnoor shared a video on her Instagram Stories on July 1, showing her home flooded with water. The footage captured water covering the floors while several people worked quickly to remove it using mops and cleaning equipment. The incident alarmed fans, many of whom assumed that Mumbai’s ongoing monsoon rains had entered her residence.

In the caption accompanying the video, Ashnoor wrote:

“I have to leave for an event, and this happens at home. May all the ‘evil eye’ on me turn into happiness, success, and growth.“

The video quickly gained attention online, with fans flooding her social media accounts with messages expressing concern for her safety and well-being.

A day later, on July 2, the actress addressed the situation through another Instagram Story, thanking everyone who reached out after seeing the video.

She wrote:

“First of all, thank you to everyone who checked on me after the flooding story. My DMs have been filled with love and concern.“

Ashnoor then explained the actual reason behind the incident, saying:

“It happened because of a burst pipe (not because of the rain, haha). Thanks to our society’s incredibly fast and professional housekeeping team, the situation was brought under control within minutes, and there was no significant damage.“

She also shared a light-hearted detail about the unexpected incident, revealing that her pet dog remained calm throughout the chaos and seemed to enjoy watching the commotion while sitting quietly in a corner.

The clarification reassured fans who had feared that the severe Mumbai monsoon had damaged her home.

Ashnoor Kaur recently appeared as a contestant on Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan. During the season, she was evicted after allegedly striking fellow contestant Tanya Mittal with a wooden plank during a task, an incident that sparked considerable discussion among viewers.

The Bigg Boss 19 grand finale was held on December 7, where television actor Gaurav Khanna emerged as the winner of the season.

Ashnoor remains active on social media, regularly sharing updates about her personal life, professional commitments, and interactions with her fans. Fortunately, the flooding incident ended without any major property damage, allowing the actress to quickly resume her normal schedule.
