On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2025, the Medical Department of SECL Headquarters organized a comprehensive health initiative that included a Sugar Detection Camp, an Awareness Programme, and a Pledge Ceremony aimed at promoting diabetes prevention, early detection, and healthy living among employees.
The event was graced by Shri N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical/Operations); Shri Biranchi Das, Director (Human Resources); and Shri D. Sunil Kumar, Director (Finance). Their presence added inspiration to the programme and emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and regular health screening for the workforce.
As part of the initiative, a total of 280 employees were screened for diabetes and hypertension, reaffirming SECL’s strong commitment to early diagnosis and health security for its employees.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of CMS, SECL, Dr. Shrutidev Mishra. The medical team included Dr. Arihant Jain, Dr. Sanjivani Panigrahi, Dr. Apoorv Sharma, Dr. Vikram Reddy, along with dedicated paramedical staff. Their coordinated efforts ensured the smooth and successful execution of the health camp. Such health awareness initiatives significantly strengthen SECL’s healthcare system and contribute to the overall well-being of employees. This initiative reflects SECL’s continuous efforts toward fostering a healthier, more aware, and proactive workforce.
