‘Anmol Tohfa, Anmol Rishte Ke Liye’ — Complete Rakhi, Puja and Gift Set Available at Nearby Post Offices for ₹520
Raipur: To make the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan more special, the Chhattisgarh Postal Circle of the Department of Posts, Government of India, has launched a unique ‘Rakhi Special Gift Box’ celebrating the cherished bond between brothers and sisters.
Carrying the message ‘Anmol Tohfa, Anmol Rishte Ke Liye’, the premium gift box is available for the general public at nearby post offices for just ₹520.
Rakhi, Puja Items and Gifts in One Box
Interacting with the media, Pranav Kumar, Chief Postmaster General (CPMG), Chhattisgarh Circle, said the special gift box has been designed to provide several Raksha Bandhan essentials under one roof.
The ₹520 gift box includes:
- Two beautifully designed Rakhis
- Traditional Akshat-Kumkum
- Two badges
- Fridge magnet sticker
- Picture postcards
- Key ring
The initiative is aimed at making Raksha Bandhan shopping easier by bringing essential puja and gifting items together in a single package.
Special Focus on Timely Rakhi Delivery
The Chhattisgarh Postal Circle has also issued special instructions to ensure that Rakhi mail reaches its destination on time.
According to CPMG Pranav Kumar, strict directions have been issued to all post offices regarding Rakhi delivery. Rail Mail Service (RMS) centres have been instructed to ensure that no Rakhi mail remains pending before Raksha Bandhan.
All Rakhi consignments are to be cleared and dispatched to their respective destinations well in advance, with the objective of achieving 100 per cent on-time delivery.

The initiative is particularly useful for brothers and sisters living in different cities and far-flung areas.
Through the ‘Rakhi Special Gift Box’, people can purchase essential Raksha Bandhan items from nearby post offices and send their gifts and Rakhis to loved ones through the trusted network of India Post.
