ICICI Bank’s $300 Million Senior Notes Receive Baa3 and BBB Ratings

Mumbai : ICICI Bank Limited has announced that its USD 300 million Senior Unsecured Fixed Rate Notes have received credit ratings from two leading global rating agencies.

Moody’s Ratings has assigned a Baa3 rating to the Notes, while S&P Global Ratings has assigned a BBB rating. Both ratings were assigned through letters dated August 12, 2026.

The Notes were priced on August 6, 2026, under ICICI Bank’s USD 7.5 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme. The Bank had previously informed the stock exchanges about the pricing of the Notes.

According to the disclosure, the Notes are senior unsecured fixed-rate securities issued by ICICI Bank. The ratings from Moody’s and S&P Global provide investors with an assessment of the Bank’s creditworthiness and its ability to meet its financial obligations under the Notes.

ICICI Bank made the disclosure to the stock exchanges in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The latest ratings mark the formal credit assessment of the USD 300 million Notes by two major international rating agencies and add to the information available to investors regarding the Bank’s debt securities.
