Amid trolling over Kiara Advani’s intimate scenes with Yash, Sidharth Malhotra praised his wife’s performance and dedication in the trailer of ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’.
HYDERABAD: The trailer of Yash-starrer ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ was released on August 8 and has generated considerable buzz, with both Yash and Kiara Advani receiving attention for their performances.
Following praise from Yash at the trailer launch, Kiara’s husband and actor Sidharth Malhotra has also expressed his appreciation for her work.

Sidharth praises Kiara’s dedication
On Sunday, August 9, Sidharth shared the trailer of Toxic on his Instagram Story and praised Kiara for her hard work, dedication and passion.
He expressed confidence that her efforts would be visible on the big screen and described the film as one of her finest projects. Sidharth also praised director Geetu Mohandas, Yash and the entire team behind the film.
He concluded his message by wishing the Toxic team success and saying that he was looking forward to its August 26 release.
Yash also supports Kiara
Sidharth’s comments came amid criticism and trolling directed at Kiara over her intimate scenes with Yash in the film.
Yash also came out in support of Kiara during the Toxic trailer launch in Bengaluru on Saturday. He praised her dedication to the role and urged her not to be affected by negativity surrounding her performance.
Yash said Kiara’s commitment to the character was evident and described her as warm, grounded and easy to work with. He also noted that actors often face criticism and negativity and encouraged her to remain focused on what she believes in.
According to Yash, audiences would eventually appreciate the work, adding that the team may simply be presenting something that is ahead of its time.
‘Toxic’ set for August 26 release
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups stars Yash in the lead role alongside Kiara Advani.
The film also features Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria in important roles.
The highly anticipated film is scheduled to release worldwide in theatres on August 26.
