New Delhi / Visakhapatnam || NTPC Limited, India’s largest integrated power utility, has invited bids for the Comprehensive Biennial Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of its 25 MWp Floating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Plant at the Simhadri Super Thermal Power Project in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The tender has been floated through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), offering qualified service providers an opportunity to manage one of the country’s significant floating solar installations.

The tender has been issued under Bid Number GEM/2026/B/7871157, dated August 3, 2026, with the bid submission deadline scheduled for August 24, 2026, at 4:00 PM. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 4:30 PM.

Two-Year O&M Contract

The contract covers the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the 25 MWp Floating Solar PV Plant for a period of two years. The project is located at NTPC Simhadri, one of the company’s major power generation facilities in Andhra Pradesh.

The selected contractor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and overall performance of the floating solar power plant throughout the contract period.
