Raipur, Chhattisgarh: In a significant achievement for scientific research and academic excellence, 20 faculty members of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur have been featured in the prestigious list of the world’s top 2% scientists and researchers for 2025, associated with Stanford University, USA.
The recognition highlights the institute’s growing research capabilities, scientific contributions and impact across multiple disciplines, including biotechnology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, electrical engineering, materials science and biomedical engineering.
The global ranking is compiled annually using Scopus citation data provided by Elsevier through the International Center for the Study of Research (ICSR). It evaluates researchers across scientific and technological disciplines using standardised citation-based indicators, reflecting the influence and visibility of their research contributions.
