Bilaspur : South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) inaugurated a state-of-the-art Samsung V7 ultrasound (sonography) machine at its Indira Vihar Health Centre in Bilaspur on Thursday. The machine was formally inaugurated after a traditional puja ceremony by Biranchi Das, Director (Human Resources), SECL.
On this occasion, CMS (Medical Services) Dr. Shruti Dev Mishra, In-charge of Indira Vihar Health Centre Dr. Arihant Jain, along with other officers and employees, were present.
Radiologist Dr. Anshuman Mishra highlighted the importance of sonography in diagnostic services. He stated that with the installation of the Samsung V7 machine, advanced diagnostic facilities such as abdominal sonography, soft tissue sonography, and vascular examinations through color Doppler will now be available within the Indira Vihar Health Centre itself. This will eliminate the need for patients to visit larger hospitals and will ensure timely and accurate diagnosis.
Notably, the Samsung V7 is considered one of the most advanced ultrasound machines in its category. It is equipped with the latest technology-based advanced software and features, enabling high-quality and precise sonography and color Doppler examinations.
This initiative further strengthens SECL’s commitment to providing better, faster, and modern healthcare services to its employees and their families.
